SNOW SecOps, VR

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SecOps – Vulnerability Response (VR) Specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise Security Operations solutions with a strong focus on Vulnerability Response (VR). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in ServiceNow SecOps, vulnerability lifecycle management, security tool integrations, and workflow automation. You will be responsible for implementing scalable vulnerability management processes, integrating security platforms, automating remediation workflows, and collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to strengthen the organization's security posture. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and experience working within enterprise security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions with a primary focus on Vulnerability Response (VR).

• Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response modules.

• Configure and optimize vulnerability management workflows, remediation processes, and security operations use cases.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow VR and third-party security platforms.

• Build and customize integrations using:

  • REST APIs

  • SOAP APIs

  • IntegrationHub

  • MID Servers

• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise security and vulnerability management tools, including:

  • Qualys

  • Rapid7

  • Tenable

  • CrowdStrike

  • Splunk

  • BigFix

  • SCCM

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer automations, and orchestration processes.

• Manage vulnerability data imports, normalization, enrichment, correlation, and reporting activities.

• Support vulnerability lifecycle management, including:

  • Vulnerability Identification

  • Risk Prioritization

  • Remediation Tracking

  • Validation and Closure

• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to streamline remediation workflows and improve security processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, integration failures, and data quality discrepancies.

• Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, integration specifications, and operational procedures.

• Support platform upgrades, testing, release validation, and enhancement initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps).

• Strong expertise in implementing and administering ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR).

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end ServiceNow SecOps and Vulnerability Response implementations.

• Strong experience designing and developing integrations with enterprise security platforms.

• Proficiency in:

  • JavaScript

  • Glide APIs

  • ServiceNow Scripting

  • Flow Designer

  • IntegrationHub

  • Orchestration

• Experience working with:

  • REST APIs

  • SOAP APIs

  • Web Services

  • Integration Frameworks

• Strong understanding of data import/export processes and integration architectures.

• Knowledge of vulnerability lifecycle management and remediation workflows.

• Familiarity with:

  • CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures)

  • CWE (Common Weakness Enumeration)

  • Vulnerability Risk Scoring

  • Security Incident Management

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication abilities.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences
