Senior Firewall Engineer

6 positions for any bounteous India locations UK JD: Minimum 5–7 years of dedicated experience in firewall engineering, network security operations, or infrastructure security roles. Experience with FortiGate 1800F hardware platform and associated NP7 network processor architecture Deep expertise in Fortinet ecosystem: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient EMS. FortiGate OS Admin (1500D / 1800F)-CLI & GUI management, VDOM config, HA setup, policy routing, feature flag management, debug commands. FortiGate Hardware (1500D / 1800F)-Staged upgrade paths, firmware validation, compatibility matrix, pre/post checklists, rollback execution Experience with network automation using Ansible, Python, or Fortinet's REST API. Working knowledge of ITIL practices, change management processes, and ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Jira). Hands-on experience with FortiOS upgrades across major versions (e.g., 6.x → 7.x) in production environments. Demonstrated experience managing FortiGate firewalls in enterprise environments (1000-series or higher strongly preferred). Proven track record of executing at least one large-scale Fortinet hardware migration or refresh project.
