Senior Consultant - Security Engineering

### About the Role This role involves independently leading security engineering engagements from initial client consultation through solution design, implementation, and post-sales support. You will drive technical pre-sales activities, architect robust security solutions, and manage their deployment, ensuring alignment with client requirements and eSec Forte's delivery standards. Your day-to-day will focus on leveraging deep technical expertise to solve complex security challenges for our diverse clientele. ### Key Responsibilities * Conduct technical pre-sales activities, including in-depth solution demonstrations for Application Security Testing (AST) platforms like Checkmarx and Snyk, proof-of-concept (POC) execution, and detailed requirements gathering. * Architect and manage the design, selection, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security solutions, specifically focusing on SAST/DAST/SCA tools such as Checkmarx and Snyk. * Drive product security initiatives, embedding secure design principles and practices throughout the software development lifecycle for client applications and infrastructure. * Oversee the end-to-end delivery of security engineering projects, ensuring robust implementation, adherence to project timelines, and comprehensive post-sales support. * Perform fitment analysis to align security tools and platforms with specific customer requirements, providing expert recommendations for optimal security posture. * Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful execution of security engineering deliverables and client satisfaction. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and operational procedures for deployed security solutions. ### Requirements * B.Tech/M.Tech or BCA/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in security engineering, product security, and client-facing technical consulting roles. * Proven expertise in Product Security, Security Engineering, Pre-Sales, Delivery Management, and Post-sales activities. * Architect-level proficiency with Checkmarx, including designing, selecting, implementing, configuring, and maintaining solutions. * Manage and architect-level proficiency with Snyk, encompassing implementation, configuration, and maintenance, as well as solution design and selection. * Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC) and DevSecOps principles. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ### Nice-to-Have * Architect-level experience in AppSec (Application Security), including designing and selecting comprehensive application security solutions. * Experience in Network Security, covering design, implementation, and optimization of network security controls. * Familiarity with other eSec Forte partner technologies such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, CyberArk, or Zscaler. * Relevant industry certifications such as CSSLP, CCSP, or similar. ### Benefits * Health insurance for the employee and dependents * Professional security-certification reimbursement (e.g., CCSP, CSSLP) * Annual learning and skill-development allowance * Sponsored conference / training attendance * Flexible work arrangements ### Skills Product Security, Security engineering, Pre-Sales, Delivery Management, Post-sales, AppSec, Network Security ### Qualification B.Tech/M.Tech or BCA/MCA
