As a Risk and Regulatory- IA- IT - Cyber Risk & Regulatory - Senior Associate, you will engage with clients to address complex challenges in the realm of cyber risk and regulatory compliance. Within our Risk Consulting practice, you will leverage your skills to deliver impactful solutions that help clients navigate the intricacies of regulatory frameworks and enhance their internal audit processes. This role offers the chance to build meaningful client relationships and develop a deeper understanding of business controls within the financial services sector.
As a Senior Associate, you will utilize your problem-solving abilities and critical thinking to manage workstreams and develop deliverables within client service engagements. You will have the discretion to mentor Associates and other junior team members, guiding them through complex concepts and fostering their growth. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be exposed to diverse perspectives, using these opportunities to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will navigate complex situations with confidence, anticipating the needs of your teams and clients to deliver quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive IT audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards
- Analyzing complex data sets to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in business processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies
- Utilizing auditing methodologies to evaluate the integrity and security of financial reporting systems
- Applying analytical thinking to interpret data and provide actionable insights for enhancing corporate governance
- Engaging in stakeholder management to communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively
- Leveraging knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in audit processes
- Supporting the development of data visualization tools to present audit results and risk assessments clearly
- Participating in continuous learning to stay updated on emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the financial services sector
- Contributing to business process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and risk mitigation
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
