Position Summary

Redapt is seeking a Principal Security Advisor (vCISO) to join our vCTO practice and lead security-focused customer engagements. This role combines executive advisory, solution architecture, and delivery leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate can engage CISOs and executive stakeholders, lead discovery sessions, design and implement secure architectures, and guide customers through complex security transformations.

We are looking for a practitioner who can assess, architect, build, and lead delivery while helping shape Redapt's security services strategy. The successful candidate will bridge business objectives, cybersecurity strategy, IT modernization, AI adoption, and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Advisory & vCTO Services

• Serve as a trusted security advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and executive leadership teams.
• Lead security strategy and roadmap engagements.
• Conduct executive workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions.
• Translate business risk into actionable cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop security modernization strategies.

Security Architecture & Consulting

• Design and lead implementation of enterprise security solutions.

• Develop secure architectures across hybrid, cloud, and on-premises environments.

• Lead engagements involving:

• Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, GCP, M365 and GCC/GCCHigh)

• Identity & Access Management

• Security Operations & SOC Modernization

• Vulnerability Management

• Security Governance, Risk & Compliance

• AI Security and Data Protection

• Network and Infrastructure Security

• Endpoint Security

• Microsoft Security Solutions

Delivery Leadership

• Lead strategic security projects from assessment through implementation.
• Provide technical leadership to consulting and engineering teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical quality assurance.
• Mentor engineers and consultants.
• Support escalation and resolution of complex security challenges.

Practice Development

• Help define and grow Redapt's security consulting and advisory capabilities.
• Create repeatable security assessments, frameworks, offerings, and methodologies.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and industry trends.
• Assist with recruiting, mentoring, and developing future security talent.

Sales & Solution Development

• Partner with sales account teams on strategic opportunities.
• Support customer presentations, workshops, and technical evaluations.
• Lead solution design and statement of work development.
• Provide technical credibility throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer security programs.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity, security architecture, or security consulting experience.

• 5+ years leading enterprise security initiatives.

• Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in:

• Security Operations

• Incident Response

• Microsoft Security Technologies

• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.

• Ability to lead both customer strategy discussions and technical implementation efforts.
