Want to gain practical management consulting experience while completing your degree? We’re looking for a junior consultant eager to help some of Europe’s most ambitious and critical organisations turn geopolitical instability, cyber threats, regulatory pressure, and fragile supply chains into a competitive advantage.

What you’ll do

As a Junior Consultant within Implement's growing Security & Resilience team, you'll join more than 25 consultants specialising in security transformation, OT & critical infrastructure, resilience, and AI security & governance. You'll help our clients enhance their resilience and security posture so they can thrive even in times of crisis.

Working alongside experienced consultants, you will:

• Research emerging threats, regulations and industry developments
• Analyse complex security and resilience challenges
• Support risk assessments, scenario analyses and maturity evaluations
• Help develop strategies, governance models and practical recommendations
• Prepare workshops, presentations and decision-making material for clients
• Contribute to proposals and the development of new approaches and services

You’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility from the beginning. Your ideas and perspectives will matter, and you will receive the support and feedback you need to grow.

What you’ll bring

We're looking for people with curiosity, commitment, and a genuine willingness to learn. The role is designed for students, which means your studies come first and we will plan your workload accordingly.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is enrolled in a relevant higher education programme, typically at master’s level and is among the best in their class
• Studies engineering, computer science, business, political science, security studies, or a related field
• Has a strong interest in security, resilience, risk, cybersecurity, or critical infrastructure
• Demonstrates analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
• Communicates complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a team
• Is comfortable taking ownership, including when there is no ready-made solution

On top of that, it’s an advantage – but not a requirement – if you have one or more of the following:

• Familiarity with security, resilience, or risk management concepts and frameworks
• Awareness of frameworks such as ISO 27001, 42001, etc., or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Awareness of EU regulation such as CER, NIS2, DORA, or the Cyber Resilience Act
• Strong quantitative skills relevant to risk scenarios and data-driven assessments
• Experience from case competitions, student consulting, or other extracurricular activities
• An interest in geopolitics, critical infrastructure, or organisational crisis response

We don’t expect you to know everything from day one. What matters most is your curiosity, learning mindset, and motivation to contribute.

You can expect to work approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility during exams and intensive study periods. On top of contributing to client engagements, you can expect to participate in our dedicated development programme for junior consultants.
