We're looking for a Head of Cyber Security to lead our security function and help us build a secure, resilient, AI-first technology organisation. You'll build our cyber strategy and lead our operational security teams. You will embed security into everything we build, including cloud platforms, developer experience, and AI-powered products.

This is a highly influential leadership role where you'll partner with Engineering, Product, Data & AI and Executive leaders to protect our customers while enabling teams to move fast.

What you'll do

You'll lead the information security area across Security Operations, Security Engineering and Governance, Risk & Compliance, with responsibility for:

• Defining and delivering our information security strategy and roadmap.
• Leading Security Operations, including threat detection, incident response, management of system weaknesses, and security monitoring.
• Building security into our engineering platforms, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and developer tooling.
• Working across engineering and product to protect our customers with secure by default practices.
• Strengthening identity, access management, zero-trust architecture and data protection as AI capabilities continue to evolve.
• Owning our cyber governance, risk and compliance programs, ensuring we continue to meet regulatory and industry standards.
• Partnering closely with our AI and Data teams to secure GenAI platforms, agentic systems and emerging AI technologies.
• Leading and developing a high-performing team of security leaders across Security Operations, Security Engineering and GRC.
• Advising senior executives on cyber risk, security posture and investment priorities.

What we're looking for

You'll bring a combination of technical depth, critical thinking and people leadership, with experience spanning:

• Leading enterprise cyber security functions within modern cloud-native organisations.
• Building and operating Security Operations, Security Engineering and GRC capabilities.
• Deep expertise across Azure (with exposure to AWS), cloud security, identity, container security and modern security tooling.
• Solid understanding of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, CSPM (Wiz ideally), SAST/DAST, vulnerability management and zero-trust principles.
• Experience securing AI-enabled platforms and understanding the emerging risks associated with GenAI, LLMs and non-human identities.
• Leading security through periods of transformation, whether cloud migration, platform modernisation or AI adoption.
• Communicating complex technical risk in a way that builds confidence with executives, boards and engineering teams alike.
