Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create and assign vulnerability remediation tickets based on scanner output and ownership rules.

  • Document ticket status, exceptions, compensating controls, and remediation notes.

  • Track SLA aging and assist with recurring reporting.

  • Maintain diagrams of internal scanning architecture and external ASM coverage.

  • Help map scanners, credentialed vs. uncredentialed coverage, and asset groups to business owners.

Tasks:

  • Assist with re-validation and closure evidence.

  • Normalize scanner output for reporting.

  • Support attack surface inventory hygiene and unknown-asset follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Education: Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vulnerability management lifecycles, scanning tools, threat concepts, and IT asset management.

  • Process & Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a methodical approach to tracking data, managing ticket queues, and following up on remediation workflows.
