Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled E-Discovery Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clients throughout the electronic discovery lifecycle, from forensic collection and data processing through document review and final production. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent client relationship management, strong analytical skills, and an in-depth understanding of digital forensic and E-Discovery best practices.

The successful candidate will work with leading cloud-based E-Discovery platforms, provide technical support and training to clients, and assist legal teams with defensible data collection, processing, review, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Client Services

• Deliver exceptional client support throughout the E-Discovery lifecycle.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships.
• Provide technical guidance and consultation to legal teams and corporate clients.
• Train and support clients using LexTrado's cloud-hosted E-Discovery and review platforms.
• Demonstrate E-Discovery solutions to existing and prospective clients.

E-Discovery Operations

• Process electronically stored information for review.
• Perform OCR, data culling, indexing and metadata analysis.
• Configure and administer review workspaces.
• Assist clients with search strategies, keyword development and analytics.
• Support document review workflows including batching, coding and production.
• Produce reports and review statistics throughout active matters.

Digital Forensics

• Preserve and collect digital evidence following accepted forensic methodologies.
• Maintain complete chain of custody documentation.
• Ensure all evidence handling complies with legal and industry standards.
• Analyse collected evidence for legal review.
• Support litigation and investigative matters.

Platform Administration

• Administer hosted E-Discovery environments.
• Troubleshoot platform issues.
• Liaise with software vendors regarding technical support and system performance.
• Evaluate new product releases and enhancements.
• Participate in testing new technologies and product improvements.

Project Management

• Gather client requirements and technical specifications.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Produce project reports when required.

Research & Product Development

• Research emerging technologies.
• Evaluate new E-Discovery and forensic solutions.
• Assist with implementation and testing of new products.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Experience working within E-Discovery, Digital Forensics or Legal Technology.
• Practical experience with AccessData products is a plus.
• Experience using RelativityOne is a plus.
• Understanding of the complete Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
• Strong understanding of digital forensic principles.
• Knowledge of litigation support processes.
• Excellent Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Digital Forensics qualification or certifications.
• E-Discovery certifications.
• AccessData certification is a plus.
• Experience supporting international clients in a plus.
• Experience working with cloud-hosted legal technologies.
