Looking to step into a role where your expertise directly strengthens the resilience of systems, platforms, and data across a modern technology environment?

We have two vacancies for Cybersecurity Engineers to join our Hemel Hempstead team. This role is specifically aimed at candidates with early career experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations (0–2 years). 

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, building, and operating the controls that keep threats at bay, working across endpoints, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.

This is an opportunity to build your expertise in a hands on environment where your ideas and input will shape how security is delivered every day.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and operate endpoint security across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Deploy and manage EDR/XDR platforms, vulnerability management tools, and broader security technologies
  • Apply Zero Trust principles and identity-led controls to protect access and data
  • Connect security tooling into SIEM and monitoring capabilities for visibility and response
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and support effective remediation
  • Strengthen systems through hardening aligned to recognised standards and benchmarks
  • Streamline security operations with scripting and automation
  • Support cloud security configurations and ongoing monitoring
  • Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, procedures, and runbook.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms
  • Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking
  • Early career experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations (0–2 years)
  • Exposure to EDR/XDR and vulnerability management solutions
  • Involvement in incident response or security investigations
