CSIT Undergraduate Scholar Cyber Internship Programme

Description

The programme includes (1) technical training to strengthen fundamental Cyber competencies and (2) an engagement programme with a dialogue with Cyber senior management.

The programme will cover fundamental computing and cybersecurity concepts including (but not limited to) the following areas:

• Windows & Linux Administration
  • Learn to set up, maintain and troubleshoot
  • Understand operating system structure
  • Network Administration
    • Understand common networking protocols
    • Design, setup and troubleshoot enterprise networks (network switches, routers & firewalls; Windows AD, web app server
    • Malware Analysis
      • Perform basic reverse engineering efficiently using IDA Free and Windbg
      • Understand binary analysis workflows
      • Learn how to develop signatures from indicators of compromise

Deliverables

Capstone assessment revolving around incident response, to test understanding and application of concepts taught.
