What will your role be? 

We are looking for a Cryptography & Data Protection Specialist to perform the following activities: 

• Define and maintain the organisation's cryptography policy and security standards.
• Define encryption requirements for data at rest, in transit and, where applicable, in use.
• Govern cryptographic keys, PKI, certificates and secrets management.
• Define security requirements for TLS, VPN, application and database encryption.
• Identify risks related to obsolete cryptographic algorithms and define migration roadmaps.
• Monitor developments in Post-Quantum Cryptography.
• Conduct or coordinate cryptographic assessments.
• Support IT, cloud and application projects as well as NIS2/ISO 27001 compliance activities.

Qualifications

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with a specialisation in cryptography, PKI or data protection.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise cryptography.
• Good understanding of TLS, PKI, certificates, HSM, secrets management and key management.
• Experience defining security policies and standards.
• Knowledge of NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into governance requirements.
• Strong communication skills with architecture, infrastructure, cloud and development teams.
