As a Cybersecurity - Cloud Security Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in building and securing AWS environments for our clients. You will establish secure-by-default AWS foundations, implement identity, network, encryption, logging, and detection controls, and drive findings through to remediation with audit-ready evidence. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You will be building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will work within our Cybersecurity practice, focusing on designing and implementing secure, multi-account AWS foundations using Infrastructure as Code. You will engage directly with clients in regulated industries, translating control requirements into working infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include automating remediation processes, integrating cloud security logs with SIEM/SOAR platforms, and supporting delivery in Agile environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in cloud security engineering while contributing to the protection of sensitive data for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Designing and building secure AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code to establish reusable secure-by-default patterns
- Implementing identity and access management controls, including least-privilege identity and centralized SSO, to enhance security
- Configuring network security through VPC architecture, segmentation, and traffic controls to protect client data
- Automating remediation processes using EventBridge and Lambda to address common misconfigurations efficiently
- Integrating cloud security logs with SIEM/SOAR platforms to support detection, triage, and remediation workflows
- Conducting cloud security assessments and source code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation plans
- Developing and maintaining production-readiness artifacts, including runbooks and monitoring plans, to support operational readiness
- Collaborating with client stakeholders to translate control requirements into implemented AWS controls and produce audit-ready evidence
- Providing guidance and training to teams on cloud security and DevSecOps practices to support continuous upskilling
- Supporting delivery in Agile environments by working alongside other engineers and client teams to achieve project goals

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer Systems Analysis, Information CyberSecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to cloud security architecture and engineering, including CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent cloud security credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in cloud infrastructure architecture design and management
- Utilizing cloud security auditing techniques to enhance security measures
- Excelling in web application penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
- Implementing security frameworks and controls in multi-cloud environments
- Conducting security incident management and troubleshooting for cloud services
