About The Role:

This is a full-time, onsite summer internship running from June 15th to September 15th.

We're looking for a motivated summer intern to join our Threat Intelligence team. The work has two tracks: building AI agents that autonomously detect and analyze cyber threats, and researching how threat actors might attack, manipulate, or evade those very agents. This is a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of offensive and defensive AI in a real security environment.

In this role, you will:

Building AI Agents for Threat Detection:

  • Design and implement AI agents capable of autonomously identifying and analyzing cyber threats.

  • Develop scripts to extract, filter, and classify malicious content and suspicious indicators.

  • Collaborate with the team to define detection logic and integrate sandbox/VM-based analysis.

  • Support evaluation and integration of AI models for content classification and anomaly detection.

Researching AI Agent Security:

  • Investigate adversarial techniques that could be used to deceive, manipulate, or bypass AI-based detection.

  • Prototype countermeasures and defensive strategies to harden AI agents against attack.

  • Study emerging threat vectors that specifically target AI systems (prompt injection, data poisoning, model evasion).

Shared:

  • Document findings, workflows, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

What You'll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents designed to detect and disrupt real cyber threats.

  • Exposure to adversarial AI — understanding how attackers target AI systems and how to defend them.

  • Mentorship from professionals working across cybersecurity and AI.

  • A chance to contribute to a project that may evolve into a production-grade tool.

About You:

  • Basic proficiency in Python (scripting, API interaction, data parsing).

  • Foundational understanding of virtual machines or sandbox environments.

  • Introductory knowledge of AI/ML models and their practical applications.

  • Interest in AI security — both using AI as a weapon against threats and defending AI systems from attack.

  • Strong analytical thinking and eagerness to learn.

What’s Next:

The hiring process consists of one onsite interview, where you will have the opportunity to meet Michal Salát, the hiring manager.
