Technology Operations & Cybersecurity Analyst
The Opportunity
Gap International is seeking a Technology Operations & Cybersecurity Analyst to help power a high-performing, secure, and forward-looking technology environment.
This is a hands-on, high-exposure role across IT operations, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. You’ll keep the business running smoothly while helping us evolve how we leverage technology—especially through automation and AI.
It’s ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership, and wants to build broad capability across systems, security, and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Technology Operations
- Support day-to-day performance of networks, systems, and endpoints
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed
- Configure and maintain Windows and macOS devices
- Manage identity and access (Entra ID, Active Directory)
- Maintain documentation, inventory, and asset lifecycle
End-User Experience
- Provide responsive, high-quality support to employees
- Support core tools (Microsoft 365, Zoom, VPN, endpoint/security platforms)
- Own onboarding/offboarding setup and readiness
- Help employees get the most out of workplace technologies, including AI tools
Cybersecurity
- Monitor and respond to security alerts across systems and endpoints
- Investigate incidents (phishing, suspicious activity)
- Support patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening
- Maintain access controls and identity security practices
- Contribute to improving security operations and response readiness
Automation, AI & Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive work
- Leverage AI to improve troubleshooting, response, and efficiency
- Stay current on emerging tech and bring forward practical ideas
- Contribute to improving overall performance, scalability, and user experience
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in IT operations, systems, or cybersecurity
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving ability
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, etc.)
- Experience with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and identity management
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Curiosity and interest in automation, AI, and improving how things work
