Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Summary
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for delivering cybersecurity advisory services to a portfolio of clients across various industries. The role focuses on governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity assessments, technical advisory, and strategic guidance, helping clients strengthen their cybersecurity posture through industry best practices and internationally recognised frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Advisory & Relationship Management
• Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor for assigned clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
• Understand each client's business objectives, regulatory obligations, and cybersecurity challenges.
• Conduct regular client meetings to discuss findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Present technical and executive-level reports to management.
• Provide strategic cybersecurity advice aligned with industry best practices.

Lead and deliver advisory engagements including:
• Information Security Risk Assessments
• Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments
• Gap Assessments
• ISO/IEC 27001 Readiness & Advisory
• ISO 22301 Business Continuity Advisory
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework Assessments
• SOC 2 Readiness Assessments
• Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
• Business Continuity Reviews
• Security Policy & Procedure Reviews
• Third-Party Security Assessments
• Virtual CISO (vCISO) Services
• Security Awareness Advisory
• Cybersecurity Roadmap Development
• Compliance Assessments
Security Assessments
• Perform cybersecurity assessments against recognised frameworks and standards.
• Review existing security controls and identify gaps.
• Assess governance, policies, processes, and technical controls.
• Develop practical and risk-based recommendations.
• Produce professional reports with executive summaries and remediation guidance.

Maintain a strong understanding of modern cybersecurity technologies and advise clients on their appropriate use, including:

Project Delivery
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Plan and coordinate cybersecurity assessments.
• Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain engagement documentation and project records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Quality Assurance
• Review reports and deliverables prepared by other cybersecurity analysts before submission to clients.
• Ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
• Verify that recommendations are practical, risk-based, and clearly communicated.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts.
• Research & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
• Stay current with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advise clients on their relevance.
• Contribute to the development of new cybersecurity advisory services.
• Required Skills
• Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, NIST CSF, SOC 2 and other recognised cybersecurity frameworks.
• Excellent risk assessment and analytical skills.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a consulting environment.
Required Profile and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, , or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT audit or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, information security governance, and risk management practices..
• Experience in conducting cybersecurity assessments, security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
