Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Accountabilities:
- Define and implement cloud and platform security standards across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and SaaS environments.
- Translate complex infrastructure and platform architectures into practical and actionable security controls and policies.
- Design and enforce least-privilege access models across cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, and identity systems.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines through robust identity management, secrets handling, and deployment environment protections.
- Validate and strengthen network security controls, segmentation strategies, and workload isolation mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain security reference architectures, technical documentation, and operational decision records.
- Monitor, assess, and report on cloud security posture using risk-based metrics and security analytics.
- Partner closely with DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams as the primary security advisor for cloud-native platforms.
- Contribute to the protection of AI-driven workloads and emerging cloud security technologies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cloud governance, compliance, and operational resilience.
- Significant experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or platform security within modern cloud-native environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services including identity management, networking, compute, logging, and data security.
- Strong operational knowledge of Kubernetes security, including access controls, workload isolation, and network policies.
- Proven experience securing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native software delivery workflows.
- Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code experience, particularly with Terraform and the ability to review Helm charts.
- Experience designing and documenting security architectures and implementation standards used by engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, secrets management, and cloud governance principles.
- Ability to work independently while influencing technical decisions across cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote and distributed environments.
- Interest or experience with AI-driven technologies, agentic workloads, or emerging cloud security patterns is considered a plus.
