As a SecOps Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding client systems and data by effectively responding to and mitigating cyber threats. Within our Cybersecurity practice, you will focus on identifying vulnerabilities, developing secure systems, and providing proactive solutions to protect sensitive information. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, enhancing your leadership style to motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

- Leading cybersecurity incident management efforts to effectively respond to and mitigate cyber threats
- Analyzing and resolving security incidents to minimize potential damage and protect client systems and data
- Developing and implementing secure systems and proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive information
- Guiding teams in the strategic planning and execution of cybersecurity strategies and frameworks
- Utilizing cybersecurity governance and risk management skills to enhance client security posture
- Overseeing the deployment of cybersecurity threat mitigation measures and incident response plans
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to identify vulnerabilities and address security challenges
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and leading practices in cybersecurity operations
- Confirming data integrity and security within cybersecurity frameworks and operations
- Mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and enhance performance in cybersecurity tasks

- Leading cybersecurity operations during assigned shifts, overseeing continuous monitoring, incident triage, and timely response across SOC, IAM, VM, SecOps, and security tools including SIEM, EDR, DLP, Proofpoint, firewall, and cloud environments.

- Managing investigation and resolution of security alerts, incidents, access requests, and vulnerability findings while coordinating major incident response with clear communication and decision-making.

- Mentoring L1 and L2 analysts on triage processes, tool utilization, SOP adherence, and escalation protocols to enhance team effectiveness and incident handling.

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 to 11 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- 6 to 8 years of strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, ITSM, IAM, VM tools

- Solid understanding of incident handling, vulnerability lifecycle, access governance, and security monitoring.

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (eg., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in Cybersecurity Threat Mitigation and Incident Management
- Utilizing advanced skills in Digital Forensics and Network Forensics
- Excelling in Security Operations Center (SOC) management and Security Incident Management
- Leveraging experience in Cybersecurity Risk Management and Cybersecurity Strategy
- Embracing innovation in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management
