Job Overview:
The Presales Executive will play a strategic role in driving Techdefence’s cybersecurity business
by bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs. You will work closely with
the sales, product, R&D, and delivery teams to provide technical expertise, solution consulting,
and customer engagement support.

and customer engagement support.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Understanding customer security challenges and aligning Techdefence’s solutions to
address their needs.
• Crafting and delivering impactful technical presentations, live demos, and Proof-of
Concepts (PoCs).
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders (CISOs, IT Heads, Security Architects,
and decision-makers).
• Supporting RFPs, RFIs, and tender processes with in-depth solution documentation and
competitive differentiation.
Key Responsibilities:
1.) Customer Engagement & Solution Consulting
• Work closely with prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements, pain
points, and risk landscape.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to evaluate the client’s IT security posture and
recommend the best-fit solutions.
• Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor, helping clients align their security strategies with
• business objectives.
• Collaborate with sales teams to design and present tailor-made security solutions based
on Techdefence’s offerings.
2.) Technical Presentations, Demonstrations & PoCs
• Conduct compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements
showcasing real-world use cases.
• Explain complex cybersecurity concepts in simple, business-friendly language to decision
makers.
• Assist clients in testing and validating cybersecurity solutions before deployment.
3.) Proposal & RFP/RFI/Tender Support
• Draft detailed technical proposals, RFP responses, and whitepapers to articulate
Techdefence’s value proposition.
• Work with the product and delivery teams to ensure that proposals meet technical and
compliance requirements.
• Benchmark Techdefence’s offerings against competitors and highlight unique
differentiators.
4.) Cybersecurity Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and industry trends to
enhance solution positioning.
• Analyze competitor offerings and contribute to product innovation and market
differentiation strategies.
• Provide insights to the sales and marketing teams on emerging opportunities and
customer demand patterns.
5.) Collaboration with Internal Teams
• Work closely with the Product, Engineering, and R&D teams to stay updated on the latest
enhancements in Techdefence’s security solutions. • Partner with service delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and post-sales
transition.
• Provide feedback to product teams for continuous improvement based on customer
interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
• 1 year of experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales in cybersecurity
or IT security.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, SIEM, SOC solutions, vulnerability
management, penetration testing, endpoint security, and cloud security.
• Understanding of security compliance standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS,
SOC 2, and OWASP.
• Exposure to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), threat intelligence
platforms, and security analytics.
