CyberSecurity Consultant

This role offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of cybersecurity strategy, cloud architecture, and client advisory work, with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud environments and modern enterprise security ecosystems. You will work directly with clients to assess complex security challenges and design scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions aligned with industry best practices. The position blends hands-on technical expertise with high-level consulting, requiring both deep cloud security knowledge and strong communication skills. You will contribute to architecture design, security implementation, and transformation roadmaps across diverse environments. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide organizations through cloud security optimization, integration, and risk reduction initiatives. This is a remote-friendly role within a collaborative consulting team that values autonomy, innovation, and technical excellence.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with clients to develop cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, policies, and roadmaps aligned with business and risk objectives.
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures and integrate security tools such as SIEM, IAM, CASB, WAF, SOAR, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Lead architecture, integration, and cybersecurity transformation projects from planning through execution and delivery.
- Assess client environments and recommend security improvements based on industry standards such as NIST, CIS, PCI, and HIPAA.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining strong client relationships and providing clear communication on technical and strategic topics.
- Produce reports, presentations, diagrams, and implementation plans to support security programs and decision-making.
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and cloud security trends while contributing to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related consulting roles with increasing responsibility.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft cloud security ecosystems (Azure, Microsoft 365, Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, Intune, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Deep understanding of security architecture, IAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR, CASB, and secure system design principles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and similar standards.
- Experience delivering client-facing consulting, project leadership, and technical solution design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, scripting, APIs, IaC tools, and automation frameworks is highly desirable.
