As a Cyber Security – Senior Associate, you will focus on providing comprehensive security solutions across various domains, maintaining the protection of client systems and data. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to address diverse security challenges effectively. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and skills while anticipating the needs of your teams and clients to deliver quality outcomes.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of a team dedicated to protecting organizations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. You will identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow. You will also uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect client systems and data
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and providing proactive solutions to mitigate identified risks
- Managing security incident responses and coordinating with relevant teams to address breaches effectively
- Designing secure systems and architectures in alignment with cybersecurity frameworks and policies
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and address diverse security challenges
- Applying critical thinking to analyze complex cybersecurity issues and develop actionable insights
- Utilizing a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate innovative security solutions
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with firm policies and industry regulations
- Building meaningful client relationships and mentoring junior team members in cybersecurity practices
- Navigating complex situations to deliver quality outcomes and enhance personal and technical skills
What You Must Have
- Any Graduate/Post Graduate
- At least 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to enterprise cybersecurity governance and operations, including CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and policies
- Utilizing security architecture and compliance management skills
- Managing security incidents and vulnerability assessments effectively
- Navigating complex cybersecurity strategies and requirements
- Building meaningful client relationships in cybersecurity contexts
