Corporate Security Engineer, IAC & Automation

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and strengthening corporate security infrastructure across a rapidly scaling fintech environment. You will focus on building secure, automated, and scalable security systems that protect enterprise users, data, and SaaS platforms. Working closely with IT, Infrastructure, and Security teams, you will drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices and modern automation to improve consistency, compliance, and efficiency. This position combines hands-on engineering with strategic security ownership, ensuring corporate systems remain resilient and compliant while supporting fast business growth. You will play a key role in enhancing endpoint security, identity controls, and data protection frameworks across the organization. The environment is fast-paced, mission-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on ownership and impact.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate security systems, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and compliance. You will be responsible for building and maintaining secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices and ensuring enterprise environments follow security best practices.

• Design, implement, and maintain corporate security infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Develop and enhance endpoint security controls, including vulnerability management and device protection standards
• Secure and manage corporate SaaS applications through configuration, automation, and policy enforcement
• Build and mature data protection capabilities, including DLP systems and secure data-sharing mechanisms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into IT and infrastructure systems
• Develop incident response and disaster recovery plans, including simulations and tabletop exercises
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual security operations and improve scalability

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise security experience in cloud environments, with a hands-on engineering mindset and a strong focus on automation and system design. You are comfortable working across infrastructure, security tooling, and scripting while translating complex security concepts into actionable solutions.

• 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 3+ years in enterprise security within cloud-based environments
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, and/or TypeScript for automation and tooling
• Solid understanding of networking, authentication, and security frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and CIS benchmarks
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security, ZTNA, and DLP solutions such as Zscaler or Netskope
• Ability to design and implement scalable security controls in fast-moving environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n) is a plus
