Head of Security Compliance - CISO - Director of GRC
Logical Intelligence is building next-generation non-autoregressive AI reasoning engines. As our Head of Security Compliance / Head of GRC, you will design, implement, and scale our global information security compliance, governance, and risk management strategies from the ground up. You will act as the principal authority on security compliance, ensuring our infrastructure, models, and data management frameworks meet the highest standards of trust and regulatory alignment required by our enterprise partners.
What You’ll Do
- Build the Framework: Establish, map, and mature our core compliance posture (including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks).
- Risk & Governance: Drive continuous security risk assessments across our data pipelines, model training environments, and infrastructure.
- Enterprise Enablement: Partner directly with the engineering, infrastructure, and legal teams to translate complex security frameworks into scalable technical controls and engineering workflows.
- Trust & Security Operations: Own the vendor risk management program, security questionnaires, and technical compliance audits required to onboard large enterprise customers.
- Incident Preparedness: Define and test security policies, disaster recovery plans, and incident response frameworks.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Track Record: 7+ years of experience in security compliance, GRC, or engineering trust environments, ideally within a high-growth startup, cloud-native infrastructure company, or AI lab.
- Deep Framework Expertise: Hands-on experience architecting, executing, and passing SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and similar security certifications.
- Technical Fluency: Comfort working side-by-side with infrastructure and AI research engineers. You understand cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP), data access governance, and modern CI/CD security practices.
- Pragmatic Approach: You prioritize secure-by-design principles over bureaucratic checkboxes, building compliance workflows that clear roadblocks for engineering rather than creating them.
