Business Manager Global CISO

Within the Global CISO organisation, we are strengthening leadership enablement, governance, and execution. We are looking for a Business Manager IV to support the Global CISO and drive operational excellence across the function.

The team

The Business Manager works closely with the Global CISO and its Management Team.

The Global CISO function protects ING’s information, systems, and customers by setting the bank-wide cybersecurity strategy and standards. It drives a secure, resilient technology landscape by managing risk, strengthening controls, and enabling safe innovation across ING.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to the Global CISO leadership team
  • Own and manage leadership and governance cadences, ensuring high‑quality preparation, clear decisions, and effective follow‑up
  • Drive strategy execution through structured planning, KPI tracking, reporting, and escalation of risks and dependencies
  • Prepare executive‑level briefings, dashboards, and decision materials
  • Coordinate across Technology, Risk, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Enhance ways of working, governance discipline, and operational processes
  • Proactively track and manage organizational commitments, ensuring timely completion

How to succeed
Experience and Education

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in executive support, operational coordination, or business management role in a complex environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership
  • High organisational sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships and manage networks
  • Manage confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Structured, analytical, and outcome‑driven mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High level of ownership, discretion, and ability to operate autonomously
