At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an opening for 2 Senior Security Engineers. We are looking for the following for successful candidates to join our expanding team.
This is a highly technical role suited to experienced engineers who can support, maintain and improve large-scale security platforms, while driving the development and delivery of new security capabilities.
Role responsibilities:
Provide second- and third-line technical support for security platforms, including incident and problem management, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor the performance and availability of security platforms, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain service reliability and stability.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including operational procedures, system configurations and knowledge base articles.
Lead the analysis, design, implementation and ongoing support of security toolsets and integrations across the wider technology environment.
Collaborate within the wider Account Security Team to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of security processes, controls, and policies.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience working in line with ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
A continuous improvement mindset, focused on identifying root causes across processes and technical environments, while delivering long-term solutions.

A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify risks, anticipate potential issues and implement preventative measures.
Experience contributing to the development and improvement of security capabilities and services within client environments.
Desirable Skills and Technologies:
Strong understanding of networking principles and system communications.
Experience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of security toolsets and technologies across on-premises and cloud environments, including:
- Endpoint Security (Trellix (McAfee), Symantec (Broadcom), or similar)
- Vulnerability Management (Qualys, Tenable, or similar)
- Privileged Access Management (Cyber Ark, HashiCorp or similar)
- Cloud Security (AWS: Guard Duty/Inspector/Security Hub, Azure: Sentinel, Defender)
Working knowledge across key infrastructure and security domains, including:
- Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- PKI
- Anti-Virus and Endpoint Protection
- Firewalls
- Application and Device Control
- Security Monitoring
- Infrastructure and development tooling (e.g. Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker) and associated security considerations
Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
Solid understanding of non-functional and quality requirements when designing security toolsets.
Foundational understanding of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) frameworks and principles
Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to a broad range of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
Ability to design and deliver proof of concept solutions to evaluate security tools and integrations.
