Role Overview The IAM Analyst is a specialized role focused on managing secure access to enterprise applications and networks. As a key member of the Identity and Access Management team, you will play a vital role in employee lifecycle events—ensuring that all personnel have the appropriate, secure access necessary to be productive. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, operational discipline, and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Access Lifecycles: Execute user onboarding, offboarding, and role-change access provisioning for employees and Contingent Workers (CWRs).
System Administration: Perform administrative maintenance on security applications and systems, ensuring all related documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are accurate and up to date.
Process Improvement: Act as a liaison between the provisioning and technical tiers, continuously identifying and implementing solutions to refine and automate provisioning workflows.
M&A Support: Participate in strategic IAM activities and system integrations to support business mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Persona Management: Develop, maintain, and audit role-based access control (RBAC) user personas.
Compliance & Auditing: Participate in SOX auditing activities, ensuring that access controls remain strictly compliant with governing security standards and corporate policies.
Escalation Support: Serve as a technical escalation point for the IT Service Desk, troubleshooting and resolving complex, IAM-related support tickets and ad-hoc analyses.
Education and Required Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience).
Domain Expertise: A detailed understanding of application authorization, end-to-end account provisioning, and Identity Lifecycle Management (including granting and terminating access across network components and applications).
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application, connectivity, and security issues.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interface and coordinate work efficiently with global business colleagues and external vendors.
Time Management: Ability to successfully balance, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Applications & Platforms Experience Hands-on experience with the following technologies is strongly preferred:
Identity Management: Okta, OneLogin, Ping Identity
Directory Services: Active Directory (AD)
Productivity Suites: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365
HRIS / ITSM: Workday, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft (experience with specific PeopleSoft modules is a plus)
